Overview
A survey suggest that only 8% of respondents had considered a clear plan for digital legacy. These Unassigned digital assets will potentially raise ethical and moral problems about the protection of one's digital identity (Elisabeth, 2021).
So, A centralised information management platform might help face the challenges posed by death in the digital age humanely.
Digital will
Step-by-step digital wills making process to manage the destination of your digital assets. Guidance texts and instructions to help people understand digital legacy related knowledge.

Understanding
Our Users

Even though most users have some ideas about how to deal with their digital legacy.
Most of people (68.8%) don’t have actually made arrangements for it

-
Emotional bonds: The value of inherited personal emotional digital assets in maintaining an emotional connection
-
‘Well-prepared’: People often think that making a will is very complicated, and that it is something that needs to be done only after thorough preparation
-
The process is too complex: Most people are relatively new to digital inheritance and therefore prefer to engage the assistance of a specialist solicitor or third party platform to complete
What influences people to make arrangements for their digital legacy?
-
Age range: 24-40
-
1 Female and 4 Male
-
2 Single, 1 Engaged, 2 Married and with kids
Term of Service
The handling of digital legacies should be divided into two phases:
For digital wills
To help administer the legacy

In previous studies, we have considered the needs of users more from the perspective of making a will. However, It is also important how relatives deal with these assets in accordance with the wishes of the deceased. In summary, the terms of service often take more time to find and the information on the documents required to apply is not clearly labelled. This is not user friendly for those who want to understand the service.

What is Opportunity
We can broadly divide our user personas into two types, based on the type of people who use our service, testators and heirs. Therefore, the following three personas were created in order to outline the goals, needs, and pain points of the user.

Depending on the persona, we can see a lack of understanding of digital estate disposal and a perception that being too complex can initially frustrate users.
Simplify the processing process of digital heritage and provide guidance information for different categories of users to reduce their avoidance.
Mental Model
Using user insights as well as personas, I completed a mental model that represents how users will deal with digital legacies, which features they need, and how they feel about those features. In the lower part of the model, we presented initial, unintegrated functionality concepts and used colours to differentiate the level of possibilities.

Find our way
With the use of "How might we?" it became clear what the main issue we were trying to solve was.

Service Blueprint
As the process of digital inheritance includes both trustees and successors, the service flow blueprint has been summarised by two different coloured squares. They represent the visible front-end interactions for each user behavioural step in the application, as well as the invisible back-end technologies and virtual touchpoints that support these interactions.

Final Design
Test
Low-fi and mid-fi test with four participants.
The results of the test were quite positive, with participants reporting that the product largely met their needs for digital heritage processing. After completing the testing, and based on the user feedback, some pages were added and modified the content of existing pages. The changes were as follows:

1. Add more page and separate different aim
For plan or manage a death: The home page is a guide to the product's features through introductory content
Report: A clear picture of the current state of management of digital heritage

3. Clarify the function
Introduction: Introduction to the role of the personal digital museum and the removal of the entrance to the memorial mode

2. Change the style and main contents of homepage
Instructions: The home page is a guide to the product's features through introductory content
Content-oriented: Added lead text.

4. Revise the tone of description
Sub-title: Part of the text has been changed to remove misunderstanding.
Package display: The user can see the final look when selecting the delivery service, which is more specific

The weak point of this project is that information is secure. The initial concept was to use blockchain encryption to record and store this information for maximum privacy and security. However, this could not be presented in the final prototype due to technical limitations. In an era of progressive internet development, this trend is bound to drive digital estate planning to become more prominent in the foreseeable future. If this product can be combined with blockchain technology, it will open up even greater opportunities.
